Banana Bread with Raspberries & Pistachios (Gluten Free)

Lately there’s been an abundance of ripe bananas in my house. I’m fussy though and will only eat them if they’re just beginning to ripen!

So instead of throwing them out I usually make this banana bread or banana and raspberry muffins I posted a while back.

I normally make this banana bread plain but this time around I decided to include some left over pistachios and frozen raspberries I had in the kitchen.

Persian Love Cake

These past few weeks I’ve been meaning to share a new recipe on my blog. After numerous birthday parties, a wedding, baby shower and even an ice skating competition, I finally bring to you Persian Love Cake.

I stumbled across this cake in a cafe a few years ago and immediately went in search for the recipe. I can honestly say I have never tasted a cake quite like this one.

So I decided to make it last week for my boss’s birthday because a) I wanted to make something other than your stock standard chocolate cake and b) it tastes great.

Double Chocolate Espresso Brownies (Gluten Free)

Six months ago I got hooked on coffee. It started one weekend with Jesse and I strolling down to our local cafe to taste their signature iced coffee. It now consists of a weekly visit for a latte – a drink I had never tried until this year.

So in honour of my new found tastebuds and all coffee lovers out there, I made these Double Chocolate Espresso Brownies.

P.S. If you’re a non-coffee drinker, never fear. The double chocolate in these brownies is bound to win you over with only a hint of coffee.
